Summary: Worlds End State Park is one of my favorites to spend the day at with family. The Loyalsock creek is great for swimming and playing around in and there are some great trails and vistas in the area. High Rock Trail is a nice hike with some fairly steep parts to it. Start by walking upstream along the creek until you get to the bridge to the cabin areas. Cross the bridge then follow the sign and yellow blazes to the top of High Rock. This will lead you to a vista and you will even join the Loyalsock trail for a portion of the hike. Following the blazes will bring you eventually back to Rt 154 by the swimming area. Turn left and follow the road and bridge back to the parking area.
Trailhead: The park is located on PA Route 154 and is easily reached via: PA Route 87 from Williamsport and west; PA Route 42 from 1-80 and south; and PA Route 87 from Dushore and the north and east. The trail starts from the main parking area at the picnic area. Follow the river upstream, cross the bridge and you will see trail signs to the left. (Lat:41.47236 Lon:-76.58181)
