Summary: White-blazed Nature Trail begins behind landmark pink cabin by pond, passes through pine grove and then follows Swamp Creek upstream through mature eastern deciduous forest. Footbridges cross creek twice before moderate rise for return loop on hillside. Trail ends with gentle descent to cabin. The Nature Trail provides access for up to 9 miles of additional trail loops, providing more extensive hikes with a variety of terrains. Picnic areas and restrooms are available at the Nature Center, making this a family-friendly facility. The Nature Center is open Monday - Saturday from 9 to 4. Trails are open daily from dawn to dusk. Trail map available at Nature Center. Trailhead: From Fairfield, Pa proceed .1 mile east on SR 116. Turn left at gas station onto Carrolls Tract Road. Proceed north .6 miles and turn left onto Mt. Hope Road. Proceed west 3.0 mile to Strawberry Hill Nature Center. Parking on south side of road across from pink cabin.
