Highlights:

Excellent view of Mt. Washington and Crawford Notch
Near:Bretton Woods, NH
Scenery:
Distance:5.8 miles round trip
Elevation Gain:2136 ft
Hike Time:3.5 hours
Difficulty:Moderate
Trail Condition:OK, but a few difficult spots
HikeType:Out and Back

Summary: A fairly easy hike, consistent rise until you reach the mini-headwall then a short but intense climb up to the ridge. The views are very nice because of the scenery but they can be difficult to find as there are many trees at the top. The summit area is composed of two small overlooks and there is not much room for more than 20 people.
Trailhead: The trail head is just behind the old train depot on route 302 at the top of Crawford Notch. Park in the lot by Elephant head and Saco Lake. Do not park at the Highland center. You can park for 15 minutes at the depot for drop off or pick up. (Lat:44.2039 Lon:-71.44587)
