Summary: This leads down the canyon to the several caves and caverns that are prolific to the limestone ledges in the area.The trail gets a little tough in the bottom but easily overcome the last part back up the hill to the road is a little tough.
You will see various Limestone ledges with many little caches.

You wonder why the Outlaws and Ancient people liked it so well,just look around.
The wonders abound.

Trailhead: From Cassville Mo.,take Hwy. 112 South,from Seligman take Hwy 112 North,towards Roaring River State Park.
At the Sugar Camp Scenic Tour Sign,Forest Road 197 36.54480 ...093.85476, go Southeasterly to the Picnic Area on the right and the Trail Head on the left. (Lat:36.52814 Lon:-93.80865)

My main reason for this hike is to visit the Onyx cave, but on my last trip to the caev I found that it was closed. Bars were placed and welded with strong intent, so I assume the cae has been closed. I've seen this kind of thing before, but there is usually a combination lock or something similar so that the conservation department can at least allow controlled access to the caves with given permission. I didn't see and lock... I took my son and nephew there with the idea of them seeing their first cave. They were disappointed, of course, but I believe if they knew what they were really missing they would have been much more upset.
