Summary: This was the last section of the 60 mile loop we took through the Sierras, traveling from Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp back to our car in Tuolumne Meadows. Climbed past the White Cascades and Tuolumne Falls, then dropped down into the meadows along the meandering Tuolumne River. A great way to end a week in the back country. Trailhead: This hike is part of the High Sierra Loop, a series of 6 camps located between Tuolumne Meadows and Yosemite Valley. These camps have facilities for backpackers, but the best way to go is to stay in the tent cabins which includes great meals. Most of the camps can be reached via a day hike from either Yosemite Valley or Tuolumne Meadows. This particular hike starts in the back country at Glen Aulin Hike Sierra Camp and ends Tuolumne Meadows Lodge.
