I am taking steps to have it removed from this website. regarding the last person's comments, I found this website http://www.eaglesmere.org/emconvservemap.jpg that has a hiking map clearly showing this hike with no comments about private property. Also, when hiking I did not cross any No Trespassing signs. From this info I would consider the hike fair game and an interesting hike. The town's website also seems to promote tourism at www.eaglesmere.org as always, hike at your own risk. Please note that if you are not a member of the Eagles Mere Association that you are tresspassing. This entire hike is on private property! Notice: Traveling in the backcountry can be hazardous. You are responsible for informing yourself about these hazards and taking necessary precautions. Information on this web site comes from volunteer reporters and may contain errors or omissions. A current guidebook and proper equipment are essential for safe enjoyment of the hikes posted on this site.
