Summary: From the parking lot look for the obvious trailhead headed into the mountains. The trail will follow Browns Creek up into the valley. You will have to cross Browns Creek at one point, and hikers may have trouble staying dry. Continue up the valley through an Open range gate. Be sure to close the gate after you pass though it. Just after the gate is a beautiful meadow for taking photographs. After passing the meadow you will have a couple more stream crossings, and then the trail will enter back into the pine forest and begin to head up hill. Look for a trail to the left here. The falls are a short ways up this trail. Sometimes there is a log laying by the turn that someone has used a chainsaw to write Falls in it. Trailhead: From the junction of Highway 24 and Highway 285 west of Johnson's Village, head south on Highway 285 for 8.9 miles. Turn right (west) onto county road 270 and head west. Continue straight on this road for 3.5 miles, where you will come to a road junction that will have the left turn labeled for county road 272 and for the Browns Creek trailhead. Turn left (south) here and follow 272 for a short distance until you see the trailhead sign for Browns Creek Falls. There is also a forest service horse corral here so the trailhead is a bit hard to miss. Reviewed by dylan on 6/19/2008 awesome hike, went to waterfall. it was during snowmelt and the creek was very big. beautiful views, and i would do it again 
Reviewed by Ben on 7/8/2006 The hike was great. Very beautiful with lots of wildflowers and beaver dams. We went in the beginning of July. I think we walked the right trail, but there was no sign pointing to a waterfall. We hiked the Wagon Trail loop from the Browns Creek Trailhead. Notice: Traveling in the backcountry can be hazardous.
