The trail was nice enough and was a pretty walk through the woods but we ended up hiking MUCH further than two miles. We followed closely the directions to the trailhead but ended up hiking down to another parking area TWO miles from our car! It was almost dark and we had our two small (5 & 6 years) children with us. If not for the kindness of strangers who gave us a ride back to our car we'd still be hiking! The guy who gave us a ride said we'd walked at least four miles and maybe as far as five. We will go back and hike it again but start from the first "State Game Lands Parking Area" about 1.5 miles before the church cemetary off 274W and do an out and back. Sleeping in the woods with no bedding is NOT the way we like to end a hik
