Summary: Cont. from "Trailhead" ...Stay straight as first main road comes in from left, Stay L or straight as second road comes in from right, take the steep left off main road. Just below the top, look to left for a single track. Follow this trail till it turns into the boundry service road. As this road starts a steep decent, look to your left for another single track trail. Follow this trail to the top of hill and down the other side till it comes out at a junction of fire roads. Take the left road and head down the road till it "T's". At the "T" go L and follow the main road for about a block then take a L on side fire road which ends after a short climb. To your left is a single track down (this is exposed and can be very muddy) to the 720 road. Go left at the gravel 720 road and follow back to 700 road and your car. Trailhead: From Corvallis, take 3rd street/HWY 99 W north for about 5 miles, then left on Lewisburg at the light. After about two miles take gradual right onto Sulfer Springs Road up and over the saddle and down to the parking area near the trail bridge just after it turns to gravel. This is your starting point (if you want to you can drive to the end of the road and park at the Orange Gate at the start of the 700 forest road. This hike can be done in either direction, either way you'll have two up hill climbs. I like to go counter-clockwise. From parking go N on Sulpher Springs, L on Soap Creek, then L on gravel Moss Creek road. L on Hein which ends at "T", L around the gate and up the hill (there a number of roads coming in, when in doubt, go up hill).
