Summary: Named for Chief Grey Lock of the Abenaki Indians, Mt Greylock State Reservation contains the highest point in Massachusetts (Mt. Greylock 3,491 ft), Sperry Campground, Bascom Lodge, the Appalachian Trail, and numerous hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling trails.

The Bradley Farm Interpretive Trail is conveniently located at the Visitor Center, and when inclement weather closes Rockwell Road, it is one of the few assessible trails. Be sure to pick up an interpretive guide and follow along as you traipse through Ephraim Bradley's 18th century farm land.

The route winds past Eastern Hemlock, Sugar Maple, Black Cherry, Birches, Beech, and White Pine; and opaque white rocks called Quartzite garnish the trail. Climb over the stone walls that once marked the farm pastures, and catch a glimpse of the Berkshires along the Cliff Loop section.

Trailhead: On Route 7 north of Lansboro, Mass, and south of Brodie Ski Resort, watch for the small brown signs pointing towards Mt. Greylock State Park. You will be turning east off of Rte 7. Follow the signs onto Rockwell Road and you'll soon come to the Visitor Center. The trailhead is at the east end of the parking lot (Lat:42.55358 Lon:-73.21272)
