Summary: As this section of trail contains no locks, it is ultimately flat. There are a few "bumps" as the trail dips into gullies that once had culverts.

The canal in Navarre originally went right through the center of town. The town has reclaimed all that for residential use but there is a trail built along the Tuscarawas River.

Trailhead: Waterworks Park is at the northern end of this section right off of Wooster St. in Navarre (N40 43.522 W81 31.744) There is a portajohn and a short watered section of the canal. Trail trail continues across the street and continues south.

Craig Pittman Memorial Park (N40 43.225 W81 30.646) is off of Hudson Dr. on the East side of Navarre. While more park is ocross the road, here there is a portajohn, pavillion and a canoe launch.

Dolphin St. (Rt.212) is the southern terminus of this section. (N40 39.304 W81 29.095) There is a portajohn and parking for only 5 or 6 cars. To connect further south requires riding Rt.212 2.25 miles through Bolivar. And there the trail connection is waithing for bridge completion across Rt.77. (Lat:40.72537 Lon:-81.52907)
