The short paved trail is ok and there is a good site to view turtles sunning themselves on logs at one observation area. However, the best aspect is the dirt trails that branch off of the paved trail. One could easily run for an hour and never run on the same trail twice, except for the return trip. Ive seen quite a bit of wildlife near these trails as well. Mostly I use it for exercise rather than for sightseeing though.

Nice, level, paved trail. Wheelchair accesable with benches placed along the trail for lingering. Also, one picnic table near trailhead. Interpretive signs for trail features and native species. 20 minute hike at an easy walking pace. There is a large area trails map at the trailheard. Several trails branch off from this trail to form larger loops so a good place to start if longer trails are desired.
