You'll be in the shade for much of the hike and you'll pass along informational signs, milage markers, beautiful views of the river. This is a very popular trail system so watch for bikers, joggers, skateboarders, etc. Cross over the river at the DeFazio Bike Bridge at the Ferry Street bridge (about 1.7 miles up stream from Valley River) turning right and heading down stream on the south side of the river. You'll pass by Skinner Butte Park, Owen Rose Garden, and and Maurie Jacob's Park take a right onto the Greenway Bike Bridge to cross back over the river to you car.
