Summary: The day ended up being another rainy day, received over 2 inches rain. It was a good time to get out and check out the streams and falls. It ended up pouring through the entire hike, well worth it when I got to the falls. The trail starts out by going through a old colonial town (Millbrook) that was restored. Every October they do a reenactment in the village and bring it back to life. After going through the village I got onto the VanCampens Glen Trail that takes you through an awesome ravine. With all the rain it was gushing and some sections of trail were underwater. Once out of the Ravine you go through some old farm fields and then along the Delaware River through a landslide that occurred not long ago. I ended by bushwhacking up a Ravine were I found a real nice water fall. Rout: Millbrook to Yellow VanCampens Glen, Across Rd Blue Hamilton onto Orange Pioneer to Ravine, Follow ravine to Hamilton Rd, Right on Blue Hamilton, Left on orange Orchard to Pa. Trailhead: From Branchville NJ take rt. 206 west. Past Stokes forest office. Make left onto Strubble RD. Follow main paved Rd past Tillmans Ravine. Go straight through intersection. Cemetery on left. Follow Rd through town of Wallpack. Make left onto Old Mine Rd. Then hang left at sharp turn. This is 615. Take to Flatbrookville and make left back onto Old Mine Rd. Take Old Mine Rd to Millbrook and park at small lot. Instead of parking at Millbrook Village continue on Old Mine Rd. to Van Campen Glen parking area a couple of miles on the left. Park and follow the trail along the water. Eventually you get to the waterfall which pools at the bottom. You can climb up next to it and continue along the trail looking down into the ravine. You continue to follow the trail and will end in Millbrook Village. I have hiked this in the winter and it is beautiful with the ice and the snow, especially at the falls. Even my no-hiker teenage daughter enjoyed this for the views. Notice: Traveling in the backcountry can be hazardous.
