This hike links many of the Woods of Wenonah trails together. Starting at the Break Back Run Trial, travel SW along a stream the trail is actually hilly here for South Jersey! keep an eye out for deer,Red fox, Red tail hawks and wild turkey. I have seen all of these in this area.

Very nice! Trail is well maintained and has new planking in the tidal area. This was my second visit and the first time for my almost 4 year old grandaughter. She liked the hills and had fun throwing stones in the water in several locations. Well worth a visit

Like Dan I also grew up in Wenonah, in fact we were classmates. However, I disagre to some extent that the trails are all "easy". Wenonah has in fact come a long way in maintaining these trails and sites for public recreational use since Dan and I were kids playing in these woods. However at times the trails have become overgrown, and interseeding small streams have to be crossed on small steping stones which may make it difficult with a bike, small children, or novice. An example of this can be found in the beggining of the trail to clay hill. I can't argue with Dan over the beauty that lies in the woods, and streams, however untill the township or a private entity continues to maintaince these trails I can only award a maximum 4 star.

I grew up in Wenonah and played extensively in these woods a a kid. Since having a son of my own, I hike these trails 3-4 times a month. The hike is easy and has very nice views of streams hills and lakes. Wenonah is a twon with a great history and the Tea House is a perfect example of that. It was just rebuit about 2years ago by John Schad, a local contractor. If you are looking to hike for just a half hour or so, head to the George Eldridge Trail. You can access this trail by coming down Mantua Ave into town and making a right onto Princeton Ave at the end make another left and park on the street. To your right will be the head of the George Eldridge trail. Please keep these woods clean they are a great getaway for anyone who loves
